Educational Instructors
Jessica P. Albright is a local voice and piano instructor at Neighborhood Academy of Music. She has been teaching private music lessons for 20 years. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Music from Florida State University. Jessica worked with CYT as music director and assistant music director on four summer musicals. Jessica has also performed along the East Coast and now enjoys helping students build self confidence and gain new skills through music.

Dylan Bailey is a Raleigh-based theater artist and arts educator. He holds a BFA in theater for youth from East Carolina University. He’s acted with Seed Art Share, Burning Coal Theatre, Pittsboro Youth Theatre, Theatre in the Park, and Summer Storybook Theatre. As a teaching artist, he has worked with SAY, NCT, Raleigh Little Theatre, Applause! Cary Youth Theatre, TAP, The ArtsCenter, Seed Art Share, Burning Coal Theatre, and Starbright Little Players. In 2020 he was recognized as an “Outstanding Arts Educator” by Chatham Life & Style in their publication’s Best of the Year event. He currently serves as a Women’s Theatre Festival team member, is a member of Pure Life Theatre’s core leadership, and a member of Seed Art Share’s executive board. In his free time, he writes plays for young audiences!

Stephanie Benner earned a BA in musical theater from American University, and after beginning her acting career in Washington, DC, went on to pursue a M.Ed. in elementary education from the University of Georgia. After many years in the classroom, Stephanie was excited to pair her two passions when she joined the CYT family in 2016. She currently teaches third grade in Wake County, and serves as the Backstage Pass director for CYT. Stephanie lives in Garner with her husband and two sons.

Jordan Biggers is a passionate theater educator and performer. She earned two BFAs from East Carolina University in theater for youth and theater education. She specializes in acting for young audiences and has been in several ECU Storybook Theater touring productions with favorite roles including the White Queen in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and Fiona in The Giver. Jordan is also a licensed K-12 theater educator who currently teaches with Carolina Youth Theatre, North Carolina Theatre, Raleigh Little Theatre, Applause! Cary Youth Theatre, Seed Art Share, and Theatre Academy Productions. She is extremely grateful for the opportunity to inspire young artists and give back to the theater community that sparked her love for the stage.

Chasta Hamilton is the owner/artistic director of Stage Door Dance Productions and a 2007 Park Scholarship alumna from NC State University. She holds a degree in arts administration with an emphasis in theater and frequently guest directs and choreographs within the Triangle theater community. Her students have appeared in local and regional productions, national tours/Broadway, and in film/TV. Awards include: Goodmon Award (2012), 40 Under 40 (2014), Women In Business (2016) and KNOW Tribe (2018 and 2019). Chasta has worked with CYT on five summer musicals and one winter play, and she is ecstatic to be involved with their educational programming as well!
